A Cross Between Two Things: Hybrid
Most people think of genuine wood when they think of shutters. And that certainly is an option. However, genuine wood might not be right for you because it can warp in areas of high moisture (kitchen or bath). Plus, genuine wood is generally more expensive. NewStyle Hybrid Shutters offer the style of genuine wood along with the benefits of faux materials, such as durability, affordability, moisture resistance, and UV ray protection. Practical and attractive, NewStyle is also easy to clean—simply wipe it with a damp cloth.

NewStyle shutters’ wood composite material is co-extruded with a polypropylene coating that helps the product be extra durable. You can choose a couple of finishes: Hunter Douglas’s proprietary Finetech® Finish replicates the look of solid wood on all colors. And the grain-like UltraGrain™ finish looks just like genuine wood.
