In the 1980’s Hunter Douglas introduced Duette® Cellular Shades. For the first time, a non-traditional window treatment offered a great energy efficient alternative. With the honeycomb construction, the air gets trapped in the cells acting as an insulator, saving you money on your heating and air-conditioning bills. Honeycomb shades can also improve your room’s acoustics, depending on the fabric you select.

The Hunter Douglas cellular collection is available in horizontal and vertical orientations, allowing you to coordinate both windows and sliding patio doors. Select from hundreds of colors, textures and opacities. For ease of operation, honeycomb shades can also be ordered cordless or motorized for your safety and convenience.

- Duette Architella Cellular Shades feature a state-of-the-art, patented, honeycomb-within-a-honeycomb design and are the industry’s highest level of energy efficiency. Available in four different sizes – from 3/8” pleat to the industries only 1 ½” pleat.
- Duette Cellular Shades are available in single and double cell construction and come in multiple cell sizes. This collection also offers the greatest number of new sophisticated fabrics and color selections and offers brand new sleek hardware.
- Applause Cellular Shades offer a simplified selection of fabrics, colors and operating systems, keeping value in mind. They are the only honeycomb shades with triple-cell construction.
