If cords are reachable by and accessible to infants and toddlers, they can pose strangulation dangers, which can result in brain damage or death. Other Options
New treatments might not be on your list right now, and that’s OK because you can still take other precautions. To reduce the risks from any dangling cords that might be on your current treatments, simply shorten the cords or tuck them up and out of reach of your child. Be sure to keep cribs and beds away from corded treatments (ideally on the other side of the room if possible).
