Designer Banded Shades by Hunter Douglas

New this summer, Hunter Douglas is introducing the Designer Banded Shades, which feature sheer fabric alternating with bands of solid fabric, which provides the perfect solution for view-through, light control, and privacy. Extremely flexible, the Designer Banded shade can be opened or closed in the raised or lowered position. This option is not available with wood or faux wood blinds or cellular shades.
Functional Features of Designer Banded Shades
The Designer Banded Shade emulates the look of a shade with two layers of fabric. The bottom rail bar, which tapers the fabric from the top of the shade to the bottom, adds to the fashion-forward look of this shade. The shade comes standard with a custom clutch lifting system that provides shade-to-shade lift uniformity. Or you could choose the exclusive Hunter Douglas UltraGlide® lift system, which features a retractable cord. The beauty of this lift system is that the cord length never changes—perfect for a nice, clean appearance. Also available is the new SoftTouch™ Motorization system. Designed with a simple wand to control shade operation, this intuitive lifting system allows you to gently pull down to close the shades and push up to open them. Both the UltraGlide® and SoftTouch™ Motorization system provide superior child safety as there are no exposed cords. The Designer Banded Shades fabric collection includes an array of solids, textures, and beautiful colors that come in light-filtering and room-darkening opacities.
