Organizations
Hunter Douglas regularly supports a number of organizations, including Arbor Day Foundation, Bal Swan Children’s Center, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Make A Wish Foundation, Minority Athletic Network (MAN), and Care Plus. In addition, Hunter Douglas has long been a supporter of Ronald McDonald House Charities®, for which Hunter Douglas recently created Shades of Happiness, a contest for kids. Hunter Douglas also supports Habitat for Humanity, which helps disadvantaged people get housing. So far, they have donated nearly 300,000 window treatments to low-income families, as well as working hours helping to build new homes. Finally, Hunter Douglas recently underwrote a graduate fellowship in breast cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering, in the hopes that talented students will have breakthroughs in the search for a cure.
