What Does the Room Need?
Living rooms (or some people call them family rooms) are often the gathering space, where a family might hang out after dinner to watch a movie or play games or where you host parties or intimate get-togethers with friends. Depending on the room’s use, you might need UV protection, products for privacy or view-through, or great stylistic fashion. If the room faces south or west, light control could be very important, as might some form of insulation at the window.

While this isn’t entirely exhaustive, here are a few options to consider for your living room:
- Vertically Oriented Options. If the window openings are large or if your living room includes a sliding glass door, you might need vertically oriented treatments.
